The combined department is staffed with two part-time laundry aides, and the following housekeeping aides two full-time, two part-time, as well as several casual who can be called upon when needed.
It is also our pleasure to provide laundry services to the community on a fee-for-service basis. For more information, please call the laundry department, at extension 5172, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, or Saturdays.
As support staff, the housekeeping/laundry department plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of the facility. Not only, do we pride ourselves in the cleanliness of the facility, we strive to create an aesthetically pleasing environment for clients, staff, and visitors. We understand the importance of our role in the hospital’s infection control activities. From the laundry aide to the housekeeper, we all play a vital part in the fight to prevent the spread of disease.
